SIT RL1254 Acoustic Guitar Royal Bronze Strings Light 12-54

Installed on my Emerald X-30. That guitar has a pinless saddle and these strings are slimmer at the ball end were easy to fit. They are nice and crisp sounding and intonate very well. Good response to vibrato. They felt a little rough compared to the D'Addario XT's but that is to be expected with a non coated string. Very stable compared to the John Pierce 12-54 that seemed to take 2-3 days to settle in and stay in tune.

Good strings here. This was my second set to buy. That says a lot for me. I do like to experiment. In my ears, these have above average sound/tone, but I prefer round core string tone overall.

These strings have a modern sound that I am not used to, but I am keeping them on and not changing. Perhaps I will get used to the tone. As implied by the S.I.T. (Stay in Tune), the strings have excellent tuning stability. When using a clip on tuner, the fundamental note stays on target, does not waver flat quickly. I do use the old school Martin-style knotting of strings at the posts.

These are the best phosphor bronze strings I've ever tried, very full sounding mainly focused on the mid-range. I think if you have a well-built guitar, these can really pull the best sound out of it, at least for solo performances Tommy Emmanuel style, I guess it depends when you're using them.

Helps give the full bass and mids on my guild D50; loud; last a long time for uncoated strings. Not the quietest in terms of finger noise but that seems to be par for rich sounding bronze strings.
