While not truly a mute, this Soundhole Cover does reduce the volume of the sounds produced by the guitar. I found it to be an excellent practice tool as it allows me to play in places where others are in nearby offices without disturbing them. For me, the greatest bonus is that the sound of the guitar is not greatly altered. I can hear what I am playing in relatively accurate tones, even though the volume is greatly reduced. I found the Soundhole cover easy to install and to remove.

Hard to find,but a perfect fit. For my classical guitar

If you want to try a soundhole cover to reduce feedback on your classical guitar, the Cordoba is probably as good as you’ll get. It fits perfect, is high quality and will not scratch your guitar. As to whether it will reduce feedback is another matter. It will change the sound of your guitar when amplified and may or may not reduce the feedback problem. You should expect considerable effort will be required to get a good amplified sound and is probably more a function of the amplifier and it’s placement than the soundhole cover. Amplifying the classical guitar is still one of the most difficult performance tasks.
