Aquila Sugar Series Guitar Strings 164C Normal Tension, Treble Set
With a translucent white look, the Sugar Guitar Trebles are made using a bio-plastic derived from sugar-cane, that was recently discovered in Italy.
The sound of these strings is clearly bright, clean and prompt, and provide great acoustic power. Unlike Fluorocarbon strings, these strings surely provide an excellent vibrato and a remarkable timbre variation when changing the right hand position from near to the bridge to over the sound hole. Laboratory tests showed that Sugar strings have a sound power (measured in Joules) and a sustain respectively 18% and 24% more than Fluorocarbon strings.
