Asymmetry, that's the Ticket.
Review by daver y. on 17 Dec 2023 review stating Asymmetry, that's the Ticket. For decades played large rounded triangle picks exclusively, but found they had a tendency to turn in my grip, esp on mandolin. The asymmetrical shape of these lets one edge fit right up against the knuckle of the pick hand index finger which (to a significant degree) eradicates that problem quite nicely. The tone is as good (if not better) than the Blue Chip, Red Bear, and Clayton Ultem I used previously.
