Trebles are made of supernylgut, while wound string are made with silver-plated copper winding (except for the third strings of the Arabic and Turkish sets, and for the fourth strings of the Iraqi set, that are wound with a special grey colored metal blend).

Aquila Arabic Strings

Great quality strings. These are still my favorite. They sound nice and punchy. Can always trust that Strings by Mail will deliver!

Cool Strings, they really go well w/ Classical Guitar string beads.

I tied these strings onto Classical Guitar Beads so I could convert them into Ball End Strings for easy installation. I was able to get away w/ 2 sets of Classical Guitar String beads because my Oud is a 12 String Acoustic/Electric Oud (I Double the Lowest string to give the Bass more clarity & punch), thankfully I was able to find a Low C Oud String that matches the one in that set (as far as gauge & material go). Classical Guitar string beads go well w/ Oud strings.
