The right string for the right job…

It’s nice to be able to order strings in multiple gauges for different scale guitars. Also nice to be able to order individual strings to satisfy finicky longer length scales (strats), bringing the . 009 to . 0085 to make the playing feel “just right”!!!

Single Strings Allow Me to Customize

I buy lots of single strings through Strings By Mail. I have a Sobell five course Cittern that I have strung in octaves. The fact that I can purchase singles and experiment with gauging is a huge plus for me. I like D'Addario strings and I like that this company offers so many singles.
