Augustine Spectra AS1046 Electric Guitar Strings Light 10-46

No fault of Augustine or Strings by mail so far I am not the biggest fan of these . This is personal taste. The strings are good quality and a good price point. They are fairly bright and that is not a bad thing. these are on a triple humbucker guitar. They might have suited one of my other guitars better sound wise. They do feel good. The real winner here is SBM. Best place for string and plectrum needs in my opinion.

I've played for over 30 years. D'Addario, Ernie Ball, Fender, every sting imaginable. These have a vibrancy and a pop to them that I've never encountered from any other string. And they're LOUD and sustain forever with bell-like clarity. What this means is that you can have much more expressive playing. Play super soft when you want to and then have the headroom to dig in when you want to, all without getting overly fatigued. Wish I would have discovered these 20 years ago. Oh yeah, and they're CHEAP to boot.
