Bach | 15 Inventions arr. Andrew Zohn for 2 guitars

I already had the Jerry Willard’s fine edition of the Inventions and was curious to see how different Zorn’s approach was, hopefully gain some additional insights on playing them. I’m glad I did. Many of them are arranged in different keys and offer greater contrast between both guitar parts. Willard is a little more generous with ornamentation info and fingering suggestions, whereas Zorn leaves that up more to the player, which is also a very legitimate method. All in all this is an excellent compilation, but I’m glad I have both editions to draw from.
