If you read music on a music stand, the OHL-1 Music Stand Lamp is a must have. The super bright 10 LED lamp features a 3-way power button located on the base to control high/low/off without accidentally changing the light's position, textured rubber pads provide a non-slip clamp on your music stand, and a flexible gooseneck allows you to aim the light where you need it. It comes with a 6 foot cord and an AC power adapter. It can also run on 3 AA batteries (included). Just right, excellent product

It's exactly as in the description. I see no difference in the light brightness of batteries vs wall outlet. The clip is very sturdy and opens wide enough (1. 5") to fit over any music stand. Very nice looking but not obtrusive to audience.

It generates MUCH more light

It generates MUCH more light when plugged in compared to operating on batteries. The AC plug housing is very delicate and easily breaks apart (this has happened to me on 2 previous purchases of this model).

Great light

This is a great light. It actually lights up two pages of music, is easy to use and the on/off switch is not in a position to get accidentally bumped thus draining your batteries.
