D'Addario Pro Arte J4601 - 1st string (e) hard tension .0285

Ordering was easy. Able to order single strings.

I have used this 1st string along with a set of Augustine Blue on my Hippner Bernabe cedar/Madagascar rosewood guitar. It adds a little extra tension where needed i. e. . 0285 instead of the. O28 that the Blue set comes with. It adds some brightness, volume and ring to melodies and is somewhat
responsive. For me, it balances out the Augustine set on this guitar.

I have been using D'Addario strings, any type: normal (early stage), Pro Arte, EXP and XT, since early 1980.

I feel that D'Addario keeps improving the products to give more value to the users.
