I ordered 6 sets a while ago to use for easy replacement for my guitar class, it's been a while and have only received 1 set.

These guitar strings sets are surprisingly top-notch performers. My speciality is matching suitable strings to individual concert level guitars of all makes and from renowned Luthiers from around the world. I am the one who recommended that the hard tension Black Diamond string sets should also be stocked for customer purchases.

The strings are of the new formulation and metallurgy on the base strings. These strings work very well. Each guitar has its own voicing and requirements for best tension loading. Always start with the normal tension set. It is best that you purchase a set of normal tension and also the hard tension. Also remember it takes to three days for the guitar and strings to set properly before you make the final decision. Now you can either stay with what you got or start replacing strings, one at a time where necessary with the higher tension string and let it set like overnight then do another string and see what it accomplishes. Doing this is tedious but it's so well worth doing it this way. The perfect set is what you do and accomplish with what I just described. Another point that I noticed from other customers stating that string breaks while tuning up especially in treble 1st string. 99. 99% is most likely caused by nut passes the string to the tuning heads . It needs to be smoothed with very fine 800 grit or 1000 grit sandpaper or emery cloth. The price of the strings are really affordable. It would be nice if one could purchase individual strings.

fast, efficient, great strings

I have been experimenting with different brand strings for my Nylon Stringed Guitar. My latest is Black Diamond Classical Guitar Strings N68B. The 1st string E ball popped off during the initial tuning so I wrapped around the bridge like a traditional string. Worked well. The other strings are all holding with the ball ends. The sound on the treble strings are crisp and clear, I like these strings and recommend them but other ball end strings I have used also have had the ball pop off so leave enough wrapped around the machine end in case you need to re-string.

I have never had strings break while installing them, until now. The #2 string broke under mild tension. The #1 string pulled through its ball end. The ends of all the trebles were very loosely tied on their ball ends. Aggravated and disappointed with these strings.
