Excellent for archtops needing a wound third string!

These strings are an exact match in gauge size to the strings that come with the Epiphone Zephyr 150th Anniversary archtop guitar. These strings really chime and ring out. D'addario also makes a flatwound set in the same gauge size. The NYXL strings are an excellent option for archtop players that need a wound third string for a wooden, floating bridge!
