D'Addario Phosphor Bronze for Cigar Box Guitars
Review by Jerry S. on 24 Aug 2017 review stating D'Addario Phosphor Bronze for Cigar Box Guitars I build three-string cigar box guitars (CBGs). Strings, of course, are a matter of personal preference, playing style, instrument requirements, etc. I've tried a variety of strings, including purpose-packaged strings for CBGs and nickel-wound electric strings, but have settled on a custom set-up for acoustic-electric CBGs. For a G2D3G3 tuning, I'm now using D'Addario Phosphor Bronze for all three strings: PB022, PB030, and PB039, and, occasionally, depending on the instrument, PB024, PB032, and PB042.
Strings By Mail always gets them to me quickly for a minimal shipping charge with no errors.
