D'Addario Chrome Flatwound CG026 XL .026 inches (.66 mm) Single String

Great Set Of Strings!

I admit, that I'm a pretty die-hard fan of flatwounds in general. These D'ddario's are brighter than most of mine ( I have 9 bass guitars of various types, except for my Squier Paranormal HH.. have 2, which can only use Fender Mustang string set from LaBella with a 30" scale & through the body at the bridge). I like "Quiet" on my slides, not the sound of fingers sliding over round wounds. They have good sustain when needed and work well with picks, to. Great tonal qualities - if you haven't tried these flat wounds from D'Addario... you owe it to yourself to at least try them.

Nice sounding and long lasting string. Use this string in place of a round wound D. No finger noise provides smooth sliding around the fretboard.
