6 string bass . 020 gauge error

the length is correct and good service; however, I thought it was a wound string, not a singular unwound string; I kept the original string unopened and is open to revise this review once the issue is resolved; thank you.

Q: Hi, is this actually a long scale string of about 37" in total length (assuming a long scale length of 32"-34")?

I'm trying to find a long scale bass string in a diameter between .020 and .025 for a "high F" tuning... and they're hard to find! :)

What I'd really like to find is a 6-string set for an EADGCF long scale bass tuning set up. I'd like a set containing .095, .075, .060, .045, .030, & .020 (or thereabouts).

Most retailers only seem to sell those gauges in full sets for a short scale (such as for the Bass VI).

Either way, I'm happy to piecemeal a set together - using strings like this one - but I seem to find conflicting info about whether these super thin gauge strings are actually for long scale basses.
