About Savarez. Alliance 540

A great set of strings, long lasting potent, fine intonation.
After about a month of playing, the low strings break in and deliver a good vibrato, with sustain, especially on concert guitars.

Q: This set is listed "HT," which should indicate high tension. However, the description of the strings lists them as "normal" and "standard" tension. Which is it? Thanks!

A: Hello Tom,
Savarez uses the suffix "R" or "J" to denote tensions. A set with the suffix "R" is regular tension and "J" denotes a high tension set (sets with both R and J are mixed sets). In this instance the HT just refers to the bass string series not tensions.
