Great improvement

I'm a luthier, and after some research, recommended these strings to one of my clients. His reaction? "Wow, these are so much better than what I had!" They do take a bit to stretch out, but once they settle in, they feel good AND sound good. Both of us are happy campers!

new favorite flatwound, new favorite all-around bass strings

These are the best flatwounds I've played. There is almost no break-in time; tuning stability is there the day I put them on. The tone from day one is classic 60's flatwound without and harsh brightness. Solid, articulated thump with good definition and no clunkiness. The finish and feel is smooth and taut. I have them on a j bass and fretless p-bass and won't be taking them off. Plus, they're cheaper than the imported brands I was using before.
