Not quite

This string was recommended by GHS as a quieter low string for a low g ukulele set. I'd not used guitar strings on my ukes before. Although this string was a bit quieter than the previous (round wound) string, it still had noticeable noise when sliding with my fingers. As I was looking for something similar to La Bella's low g that they sell for ukes, this didn't quite make it.
