GHS Silk and Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings 370 Lt 11-49

I just absolutely love the feel and the sound of these when they are less than 3 weeks old. I play very frequently and play pretty hard. They do need changing out though for my taste at least every 3 or 4 weeks. Sooner if you play hard every day.

installed and tuned, these strings came across very mellow on this Collings mahogany parlor guitar. After a few days of setting in and playing, they appear to hold their tune rather well. Consistency and smoothness, with soft action. Thank you for the recommendation.

Great tone. Not too bright, just right. Easy on the fingers too

A little brighter than Silk and Steel with about the same feel.

Silk and bronze has a very nice feel and on my Yamaha box has a different rich sound.
The only reason why I didn’t rate them great was that my first set were just absolutely perfect, lasted a good while for my style of playing but the second set broke fairly quickly on the middle three. The strings I replaced them with are hanging in there after some rough runs. Overall I’m really happy with these strings versus D’addarias (sic). I’m very happy with Strings online…….
