Golden Gate FP-1 Ukulele Felt Pick, One Pick

Recently we inherited a Gretsch Claraphone banjouke dated to the 1930's. A beautiful instrument in very good shape, but needed some attention. Getting the right strings was the beginning of a full cleaning, adjustment to the drum, and tightening up of the tuners. The identification of the right strings, the purchase and delivery all were easy and the strings arrived quickly. Great to work with a company that has a high bar and cares about how things work out on the customer end. Appreciated.

This is a good pick stiff but with soft sound

Five Stars for SBM and their excellent service. I want to use a pick when I play my Baritone Ukulele. These picks are too thick for my liking. I'll continue my search for a thinner felt pick.

There are a LOT of 'felt' ukulele picks on the market today. They are all decent but not much like the old ones. Many are made of synthetic plastic fibers. Some are chopped up plastic fibers glued to thin cardboard. Golden Gate picks are more expensive because they are 100% wool felt, just like the originals. They don't feel scratchy in your hands and are easy to grip. If you want the real experience and the old sound, get these.
