Love the tone - the depth.

The strings you had on before have a lot to do with your perception of the new strings. I had D'Addario J45, rectified nylon strings, because they're said to be warm and have excellent intonation. I tried these strings because they were also said to be "warm. " The basses are indeed warm, but I'd say the trebles are bright and clear, better than expected projection, and "sweet" when pushed. They are a little higher than normal tension, which isn't ideal for my 664 scale Ramirez. But, it's been a positive enough experience to try them on my 650 guitar next.

I've been experimenting with new strings, this set sounds exceptionally balanced as if there's an EQ on my guitar. Each string is clearly heard when playing chords and not muddy at all. However, on my guitar, it seems to lack volume. But still a new favorite so far.
