Optima Chrome Roundwound Electric Guitar Custom Light 9-46

For those of you wondering since there doesn't seem to be any feedback on these strings anywhere, they are great. They have a nice balanced sound, good clarity but not underpowered. They do NOT sound anything like chrome flatwound strings. They have similar output to regular steel strings, but with better clarity and the tone is slightly on the warmer side. On single coil guitars they really bring out that glassy brilliance on the neck pickup without sacrificing any punch on the treble side. With humbuckers, they can help to tastefully clean up muddiness and improve note separation. Like other Optima products, they last a very long time and play great. Tension seems lower than most strings of the same gauge, which I love about Optima strings in general. Overall, great set of strings. If you like Optima's gold strings but want to try something different, these are a safe buy
