Great stringd

The Optima gold plated strings solve a couple of problems common to plain steel strings: 1. The balance level is similar to to wound strings and 2. The tone quality is more like the wound strings. Violin E strings are offered with gold plating for the same reason. We should have learned from them! No more quack, just a consistent tone and level. I won’t put any other string on an electric guitar unless the customer insists. Best, Claremont Guy.
