John Pearse 980M Pure Nickel Acoustic Guitar Strings Med 13-57

These are my favorite round-wound nickel strings, AND at a not-so-premium price, which I would happily pay if I had to. . . but I don't, and neither do you. I use drop tunings a fair bit, and these heavier guages make it as easy as possible to maintain tuning and be comfortable rocking out a little bit. Really good stuff. Thanks!

I tried the Pearse Electric/Acoustic strings and left a bad review and needed strings to replace them. I had these Pure Nickel so gave them a try. As soon as I started tuning them up I was pleased with the tone. They made my mahogany arch top sound really good. When I plugged the guitar in I found the electric sound was really just like the acoustic. If you’re looking for strings for an acoustic/electric I suggest you try these.

One pack was labeled as medium gage (as ordered), but strings inside pack were light strings.

I buy 99% of my strings here for my 3 dreads. I've stuck with strings one because I live in a small town no one sells strings and I get the best delivery time from Strings. Normally 2 days no one else I've tried comes close to that service. They have the best selection too.
