Dunlop 114SI Road Pro Deluxe Guitar String Winder

Never had one of these, it's a time saver. However, I wish the barrel was a bit longer because there's room for wiggle and when it wiggles, it wants to hit the neighboring tuning pegs. If I can find something suitable to create a snug fit around the tuning peg, that'll solve the problem. Other than that, it's pretty handy-dandy!

Pretty cool. I want to try different strings and without this string winder I'm not sure I would do it. I would recommend it.

I already have the cheapest plastic winder, that doesn't turn easily and makes noises. I bought this winder because of very positive review (and low price). It works great. It rotates easily and silently. There is a space inside of the handle that shows inside, that bearing is a metal sleeve. I'm not sure what this space is for (too small for pics). Slot for tuning knobs leaves about 0.1" gap for ebony knobs on my classical guitar and 0.2" gap for Martin dreadnought (D-15). There is also smaller cross-cut slot and the slot for removing bridge pegs. I measured distance from the other knobs, when fully engaged (to avoid hitting them) and it is safe 0.2". Great product, that is way better than clear colored plastic once, that cost about the same. For me it is perfect (I don't see what can be improved). Highly recommended.
