K&M 10065 Music Stand (Konig & Meyer), Black

I recently replaced the music stand my parents bought me about 40 years ago when I was a kid. It was time for an upgrade since the old one was a little warped. I like how the new music stand is sturdy, yet not heavy. I also like how versatile it is with its adjustable height and sheet music supports.

This is the best portable music stand I know of. I've been using one for a while, and bought this one for my bandmate who had a crappy Cordoba stand.

I’m glad I got this stand. For me, it appears to be a good blend of strength and portability, although I plan to use it as a stay-at-home stand. The height adjustment range is very good, and at the lower end this is more helpful for seated guitar playing than a big orchestral stand and is less obtrusive for placement in a limited living space. The manufacturer’s 5-year warranty is reassuring, as well as availability of replacement parts. Surprisingly, the stand has made me a happier player.
