While I usually use wound Low G strings, this one sounds very good for being Fluorocarbon. I have it on my Lanikai tenor. I would buy again. Try them! Ps I love the prompt service filling my orders. Great job Strings by Mail

This Low G string sounds great. I'm still waiting for it to finish stretching out. I'm not someone who plays a lot, but it's been on my tenor uke for over a week, I've played it 10-15 minutes a handful of times, tightening it several times in each of those sessions, and it still doesn't hold tuning. This is my first fluorocarbon string, so I don't know if that's just normal, but I'm reminded of the old Kinks tune, "so tired, tired of waiting, tired of waiting for you!"

Having only played a wound low g before this is amazing as it looks and feels the same as other flourocarbon strings, yet it's low G.

many moons ago, there was an outfit "south coast" that made my favorite strings... this low g feels like the one I'm looking for. I'm excited to purchase a whole set...
