So many flamenco pieces use the thumb to play melodies in the bass from E through G and this string gives my thumb the same tactile feedback and tone. I would recommend getting 2 of these for every hannenbach set, as they tend to wear out faster than the other strings.

I think all of their wound 3rd strings are fantastic! They merge the bass strings to the treble like no other as far as I've experienced so far.
