Mini A Strings

The Mini A strings- tuned a fourth above E standard tuning- really brought the Cordoba Mini R to life!
Side note: that Mini Cordoba is a great little guitar for camping!
Perfect for playing ‘Landslide’ which I was just learning on my regular guitar with caps at fifth fret.
Strings By Mail is my go-to for strings from now on: fast, friendly- and their decal is pretty cool as well!

arrived fast but...caution...

Fast service from strings by mail. Be careful, and listen to the video. These strings are not labelled so you need to look at their size!

Crap Strings

The 4th string outer winding started to split within an hour of installing the new strings. The result is a badly buzzing string which will likely break very prematurely. Sadly, since these strings are the "only game in town" for the Cordoba Mini guitar, it renders the guitar itself non-functional. I am not happy at all.
