Beautiful sounding carbon fiber trebles.

I am a big fan of carbon fiber treble strings. I love the power, sustain, and the feel of these thinner, stiff strings. However, they can me a bit on the bright side, and sometimes, even piercing or shrill when played at full volume. I realize this varies from player to player, and guitar to guitar.
Recently, my friend, Paul Jabrayan, owner of The Grand Salon De Guitare of Montreal, Canada, recommended I try what he thought were the best CF strings he's played. To be honest, when I heard the name La Bella, I had my doubts. Well... he was right, and I was wrong. These strings deliver a round, beautiful, lyrical tone with all the power and sustain I've come to expect from carbon fiber strings, without any of the overly bright, shrill tone I mentioned, when played hard. They are, to date, the best sounding carbon fiber trebles I've played - and I've tried most of them.
My impression was borne out by the reaction of my advanced students who - being used to hearing my guitar (a very powerful, fan braced David Schramm)- were, to a person, in agreement that they sounded beautiful yet powerful. I pair then with the Savarez Cantiga, hard-tension basses. They are my favorite basses, hands down, and are a perfect match for these trebles. They come sealed in nitrogen-filled packs, by-the-way. How cool is that!? I highly recommend them and if you like the power and sustain of carbon fiber strings, but have not been thrilled about the tone, give these a try.
