Savarez Cantiga Premium HT Classical Guitar Strings DAE, Bass Set

These are my son Justin’s favorite strings. However, he goes through the bass strings pretty quickly, so he usually needs to replace the bass set about once a week.

Cantiga basses may be a bit fuller when compared to the regular Savarez or Corum basses but are not a match to Augustine basses. I bought a couple of Cantiga basses and was not pleasantly surprised. On one set the 4th string broke after about 1 month of use, which is a common jinx on Savarez strings, the 2nd set is holding on but it does not have the punch of the Augustine high tension basses., nor it will last nearly as much.
