Augustine Imperial MT Blue HT Classical Guitar Strings, Full Set

I have these on my Takamine cedar/rosewood guitar. They bring out the sweet and nuanced tone of this guitar very well. I only play at home with a lighter touch, all free strokes.

Easily my favorite nylon set. The basses are full and powerful, the trebles sing, and the playability is effortless. I have only had them on for a week so I cannot speak to longevity, but at this price I can say that this will by my go to nylon set on my spruce top.

I have yet to put the strings on my guitars, but they did arrive quickly. Thank you.

These Imperial Blues have a very nice tone, are fairly loud and allow for good expressiveness. I've had them on for about a month and a half. The only problem for me is that they seem most amenable to a fairly light touch. As I use frequent firm fingertip rest strokes, the treble strings can feel a bit spongy to me-especially after they've been on for a while. I may change out the trebles with a higher tension set. I do highly recommend these strings to guitarists who have a medium to light touch, as they really have some nice attributes.
