Optima Maxiflex 24K Gold Wound Electric Guitar Strings 10-46

They play REALLY WELL, looks cool too, but high E string broke within 3 days!!!

I continue to be very happy with Strings By Mail. On this particular order for (4) Sets of Maxiflex 10-46 Strings, (3) Sets were delivered immediately, and (1) Set was on Back Order - and delivered sooner than I expected. Communication and Service continues to be excellent. These are my favorite strings, and not easily found. I like the brightness of these strings, and they last A Lot Longer than regular strings - so I don’t have to change strings nearly as often. The price at $26. 45 per set is also excellent, and the least expensive I have found. They are not cheap. With Trump’s tariffs, I hope that they continue to be available. Thank you for you.

These strings last forever, for me they last over a year without tarnishing, and they look great also. At the guitar repair shop, they told me they are made of better steel, And although they had never seen them before, they were really impressed by them. I always use these, for me the gauges may be a little heavy, but I’m a pretty light player. I may go for a lighter gauge next time.

I put these gold strings on my white Gretsch G5420TG. Besides looking great, they feel like playing on butter, and the sound is terrific. Can't be any happier!!
