Optima 24K Gold Plated Acoustic Guitar Strings 11-50

I’ve only played one gig with them,but they’re nice strings. After two more gigs we’ll see if they are worth the expense. I put them on all three Guild acoustics with different tunings. Bottom line: I like ‘em.

they're amazing and they last and last and last - and no problem with allergies on my fingers - I wipe them off after each use but they never seem to get dirty - Thanks again for the recommendation

Optima gold strings are the best and you send them to me really fast.

I first found these strings at the NaMM show in Anaheim.
I used to use Elixers, Marqui's and SP's.
The Optima strings cost substantially more than the other strings but the sound quality and longevity makes them worth the price.
I play on JamKasam and several people have asked what is the guitar I am playing...It's my cheapest Guild 6 string dreadnought but with those strings it sounds good enough to get many compliments from around the world.
Everyone has their own preference when it comes to strings but I would strongly recommend trying these out at least once. They're my "go to" strings if I have a new gig, or want to record a new song, etc.
Also, "Strings By Mail" makes it easy to purchase these and have Great customer service and follow-up.
Neither the strings or the customer service can be found at Guitar Center.......just sayin'

I find these string to have a sweet tone. For finger style playing it can add some nice sparkle to notes.
