Pyramid Excelsior Silver Wound 3rd .029 Hard, 384 003 Single

Being able to purchase a single string keeps me coming back for more.

I'm not sure which of the two the hard and the softer I'm presently using but these strings have been phenomenal and last much longer than the other wound 3rd G string brands. It will eventually unravel but at least hold together much better. Also the dead sound of the 3rd string vanishes with a wound string and makes my music sound so much better. I wish I would have started with a wound 3rd string. Also the windings are fine enough you don't get that "squeaking" when changing cords or a lead note. I tried many 3rd G strings and this is definitely the best!!!
