Pyramid Excelsior Silver Wound 3rd .028 Medium, 383 003 Single

To be honest, I haven't used these G-strings yet~ But I bought them for my baritone uke, which is always breaking a G-string. I can't wait to try it, but I have to wait for the string to break~! I appreciate the quick delivery~!

smooth transition between trebles and basses, med to med high tension, last about 4-5 weeks with heavy playing (35-45 hours/week). less fret wear than chrome steel thirds.

I'm not sure which of the two the .028 or .029 I'm using but both were a Godsend as my guitar sounded so much better. They also have a durability with the delicate windings around the string that will eventually come unraveled, but this brand lasts very significantly longer than other wound 3rd string brands. I'm very happy but need to be closer comparing the .028 vs the .029 but the best after many 3rd string trials.

After having a dead G-string on my classical guitar for so long. The Pyramid wound third sounds terrific.
