Pyramid Lute Silver Wound 905 (.017) single string

I have an odd lute. It’s nine courses and was built in Turkey by an oud builder. The pegs are bigger than standard lute pegs so the peg box is four inches longer than a typical lute peg box. Finding strings for the lute is hard. These strings were long enough to comfortably string the instrument. They sound great.

I believe the Pyramid string I got is the best string made. It was expensive, but it is wrapped in sterling silver wire. I needed a very thin wrapped string for my lute. I don’t know where else I could have obtained this. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
