Pyramid Silver-Plated Steel Guitar String .009 Single String

Hard to find single string sizes (two . 009 and two . 010) for a Gakax style Appalachian dulcimer were EASY to find on this site!! Arrived with good speed!

Strings by Mail is by far the best source for strings that I have ever dealt with. Imagine; people who work at strings by mail are actually real live musicians who all seem to be very dedicated and knowledgeable about what they do. What a strange and unusual concept in this day and age.
As far as Pyramid New Rock Standard Electric Guitar Strings Extra Light 9-42, great electric guitar strings that I have used on many of my own and my customers guitars; with rave reviews from myself and my customers.

Works great, rings true with good musical tone. However, the REASON I bought this is a mark against Pyramid’s Flatwound . 010-. 465” twelve string set. They give you . 010” gauge for both high E strings AND the high G. That’s too fat for the high G, making it too delicate and I’ve broken that string just tuning it to pitch. They should have an . 009” in that set, but they don’t, so I bought a few of these to substitute. It’s not the same materials or composition but you would never know from the sound.
