Tusq picks - standard shape (351) White/Vintage/Gray 0.68
Review by Fred N. on 10 May 2021 review stating Tusq picks - standard shape (351) White/Vintage/Gray 0.68 Being a big fan of Tortoise-shell picks, I'm always on the lookout for good quality picks. Actually, I purchased all three styles in the standard and teardrop shapes. What's interesting to me about these picks is that, even though I ordered all three styles in a 0.68 gauge, each of them sounds different from the others! White is bright - Vintage is warm - Gray is deep! They even have a little bite, or grip, on the strings - similar to genuine tortoise. If you're looking for a different sound and feel from your picks...give these a try. I think they're great and can't make up my mind which color I like best. I should also say that I'm primarily a solo Jazz-guitarist and play medium-gauge roundwound strings (13-56).
