Review by Michael M. on 31 Oct 2023 review stating Camr back to BeBop I experimented with a variety of strings recently, including nickel round core (Sonotone Sonocore), monel (Curt Mangan and Pyramid), ... on a whim, I even tried Ernie Ball Cobalt. They all offer something of interest, but in my experience you can't beat the tension balance and tone of the Thomastik-Infeld BeBop. The compound wind not only makes for less string noise; there is also a sweet quality, which is very obvious on lower notes. All the others sound gnarly by comparison.
