The Dogal equivalents for Cretan Lutes!

The Thomastic-Infeld GB20 Nickel Flat Wounds are the best alternatives to the Dogal equivalent by far! The Dogal are hard to come by in the US, and I’ve had a hard time replacing them the past few years until I tried out the Thomastik!!!

Too Short

I could not use this string. It was too short for my 7 string bass high "E". I am still trying to find a long 0.020 for that XL scale bass guitar. Although the gauge was correct, the length of the string was not published or indicated in any way.

I will also forward your comment to our web admin so we can try to update those listings to explicitly state the scale length.

In the future you might want to use the contact page for a request like yours as an extra long single string, flat wound in a .020 may be something best special ordered. Matt in customer service should be able to find what you are looking for.
