To make its 710L Silk & Steel set, La Bella starts with an inner steel core and then hand winds pure Italian silk filament on top. It finishes off the light tension strings with a layer of silver-plated copper wire.
The result is strings favored by finger-style guitarists for their soft touch and sweet tone. They also have less tension than standard strings wound with steel, bronze, or brass.
