Thomastik Power Brights

I have been using Elixir strings for several years and I am very pleased with every set I played. I wanted to try Thomastik, their description sounded excellent.

As far as the sound of my guitar (Kiesel headless Holdsworth), I didn't notice any difference, both sets sound great. Thomastik strings need a couple of days to set. You need to keep fine adjusting the tuning before they are set. Elixir strings are set within an hour, often times you put them on and you forget about them. Makes me think that the ball end of the strings needs to be wound tighter.

Elixir strings are 12$/set, Thomastik around 20$ so there you have it! Elixir are also covered with poly/nano coating which makes them really smooth under your fingers.
