European Secrets Hoofer's Choice Nail & Cuticle Cream, 1 oz

I've only been using this product for 2 weeks and already have noticed an improvement. Winter is an unforgiving and dry environment for my nails and they feel stronger and more supple than I can remember them being. I'm a blue collar union worker. I work with my hands doing industrial maintenance so keeping nails from breaking with any significant length has always been a challenge. I've been playing classical guitar for about 25 years with various breaks and have always kept my nails rather short. I'm letting them grow out further than I have for years thanks to this stuff.

I have been playing classical guitar for many years now and in fact it remains my favorite and most rewarding style of guitar playing. The one thing that I have absolutely hated and despised through the years of playing is when other non-guitar playing activities sabotage and destroy my fingernails. That is so discouraging when you look forward to playing and then your thumbnail gets cracked and broken down to nub. When I saw this product on SBM I just took a chance and bought it. After a week of using this I already started feeling the difference in my nails. They became harder and less brittle and after a couple of months of using this stuff once a day, I have not torn or broken a single nail. My tone actually improved slightly which inspired and enabled me to play every day for hours on end and not without a single break, tear or chip until about a week ago... I was working in the yard and man handling some 50 pound bags of soil when I jammed by right thumb into the tailgate of my truck. I thought my little honey moon was over when I removed my work gloves and saw a horrible fracture in my thumbnail. The crack was almost all the way across right on the edge of the thumb. When I went to get my nail trimmers to put it the rest of the way out of its misery. I noticed that that my thumbnail had cracked but it did not tear and separate like it always does. Instead of just clipping it off I reached for my nail file and clear nail polish and made a quick repair. Lo and behold I was back to playing later that evening as if nothing had ever happened. There is something magic in this stuff that keeps your nails strong and vibrant. They feel thicker, more durable and able to withstand all of the other tortures that I put my hands through. The repair is still holding after a week and I even made it through a jam session of heavy finger picking last night. I just feel really silly that I did not catch onto this sooner. My passion is music and playing guitar so there just isn't enough words of praise that I can anoint Healthy Hoof with for keeping this old horse on the playing trail!
