I was using EB 8s, for the past few years because of arthritis settling into my hands. The feeling was very smooth, but they never lasted very long.

My original strings fry40+ years ago were GHS Boomers 9s, which gave me an excellent sound and lasted a long time.

No one had Boomer 8s, the closest I could find were 8.5. So tried a set on my Gibson goldtop with P90s, and the sound was much better, but still needed a true 8.

Fortunately, STRINGS BY MAIL, have the real deal, and best priced same day shipping!
