These have a rich full tone, and not too bright. Very easy on the fingers to play.

These are beautiful sounding strings. I have been experimenting with different types of metal composition and these are very warm and vintage. Top quality manufacturing. Try them for blues or just for a nice vintage vibe.

Slinky feel, so smooth to bend. The pure nickel takes off the edge on the highs with the light gauge. Love these strings.

I have low output vintage staggered single coils in my Strat and typically use the Nickel classics sets with a wound third to help balance out some of the aggressive highs. This set was surprisingly full without too much high end. Although I typically like more contemporary music and jazz, I've found myself playing a lot of Van Halen, AC/DC, and Zeppelin with this set because I really like the way they sound with higher gain.

The quality of the string is very high. I prefer the feel of round wound strings (they twist under the finger like a classical string) but these are nice and pliable. They're quite resilient to sweat and grime. Would recommend.
