DR Strings Pure Blues PHR-11 Pure Nickel Electric Guitar Strings 11-50

First of all, Strings by Mail has excellent customer service. I've used DR Pure Blues strings in the past without even realizing that they are round core. I've always known that they're pure nickel wound. This not only yields a warmer and richer tone, but also extends the life of your frets. I love that about these strings. They sound glorious on my 2023 Fender Am Pro II Strat. A thin sounding guitar by its very nature. Pure Blues strings naturally fatten the tone of guitars with single coil pickups. They also last a very long time before they need to be replaced. All positives in my book. I will continue to by these for my Strat, and Strings by Mail has earned a customer for life!

I have been using DR strings for 20yrs, have never found a brand of steel strings that comes close to the quality and tone of DR. For electric, the Pure Blues line offers the best tone and feel of any electric string I have tried. DR strings are great right away, no real break in time is needed. Bends are smooth and effortless. I highly recommend these, you will not be disappointed.

I've been using this set for years without any problems. I just recently went to 10's on my L.P. and Tele because I'm getting old, 73 last time I looked. The DR 10's were lacking something so I went to D'Adarrio NYXL Nickel plated 10's and they played and intonated better. The short answer is, DR sells a lot of 10's sets but the NYXL is fairly new on the scene and may just be a better string, in my humble estimation.

I've been playing a long time, and I wish I had found Strings by Mail years ago. I could have bought another guitar with the money I could have saved. The DR strings are by far the best strings I've tried, and I have tried a lot.
