La Bella Uke-Pro Ukulele Strings for Soprano Ukulele Set 200

Very good strings, although be aware that the rectifying process creates a bit of texture to the string. For me there was a bit of finger noise from this. I liked the sound and feel, but was looking for a smooth textured string

I had previously discovered La Bella nylon strings, which gave my childhood 1958 Martin 0 a very “sweet” sound. The Uke-Pro are ground, and sound even a bit better, but the surface has a texture which can sound a bit squeaky when played softly. On my Kala they are not as noticeable, and I would recommend them for some applications. I still prefer the original nylons overall.
