Oasis Carbon Ukulele Strings for Conc/Sop/Ten Warm Low G, Full Set

Oasis introduced a new Smooth Wound Low G string made with a nylon core and a phosphor bronze wrap at the 2015 NAMM show in Anaheim, California. The smooth wound low G reduces or eliminates string noise and gives your instrument the beautiful mellow tone you expect from your ukulele. The two new sets have the same first three strings as the original bright or warm sets.

All-time favorites

I’ve gone through about 5 or 6 sets of ukulele strings now, and the Oasis strings stand out by far as all-time favorites. For what it’s worth, I like my uke to have a mini-guitar sound.

I found them through a video featuring the immensely talented and admirable Kalei Gamiao testing out like 10 sets of ukulele strings. They’re the only set of strings I truly played into the ground because I just love their sound so much.

I almost gave 4 stars due to the finicky quality of the low G (it must be handled carefully or it WILL snap, which has left me one low G short of a full second set), but it’s a fairly quick learning curve.

I love these strings. I am an ukulele builder and have tried many, many brands. These are top notch with the bonus of getting two sets for the price of one.
