The best low G I’ve found

These strings were recommended to me by a ukulele connoisseur. Compared to other brands like d’adario and Aquila, this low G string sounds a little better and last much longer without wearing out.

The only place I buy strings - Strings by Mail

I haven't strung the La Bellas yet - so I can't review them currently. I will say, however, that Strings by Mail is the only place I buy strings. The selection, service, and shipping are the best anywhere. My strings always arrive quickly - clean and intact (thanks to careful packing). Always friendly service. Been playing for over 5 decades and there's just no place better for new strings.

Requested string review

Struggling to even give 3 stars, guess I'm spoiled by my Pepe Romero strings bt LA Bella. These strings did not have a smooth round feel, they had ridges making them feel almost square. The sound quality, both brightness and sustain lacked compared to my preferred strings. So much for trying to find a cheaper alternative. Confirming you get what you pay for.
